Finding shows that meet our high criteria meant we were always pre-watching content, co-watching, or rushing over to skip ads. So that “break” we hoped screen time would give us? It totally went away.
We felt like there must be a lower-stress option for us as parents. One that could give us a break without forcing us to compromise on our screen time values. But, to be honest, there just wasn’t.
