Help your baby speak their first words using the step-by-step process Carly and Katie use with the families they work with— and their own kids!
Language starts to develop well before we ever hear first words. Help your baby communicate with you sooner by teaching them baby sign language.
The little moments of talking, reading, and singing with your little one really do matter and add up! But we don’t just want you to take our word for it. Here’s what some of the research says:
Your baby finds you fascinating! They’re naturally curious, and their favorite thing to explore is you. That’s why when you talk, read, sing, and tell stories, your baby stares and watches your mouth movements in total awe. They’re learning language through the nurturing experiences they get to share with you. (ASHA Wire)
Your baby’s brain changes itself in response to the interactions they have. The positive experiences they have talking, cuddling, reading, singing, and playing with you help them learn language and start to develop the attention, memory, and social, emotional, and motor skills they’ll come to rely on later. (ASHA Wire)
Your baby’s brain grows faster in their first 1000 days than it ever will again, making a million connections per second! And the early, language-rich experiences your baby has with you are like brain growth fuel. The more your baby gets, the more their brain grows, and the more solid a foundation they have for future learning. (Lore et. al., 2018)

We’re Carly and Katie, pediatric speech therapists and moms of 6 kids with different needs. We know what it’s like to want to do ALL the things for your baby...but to have not slept in months and to have a toddler or two hanging off your leg, all at the same time! We made this course doable, practical, fun, and light because we have been there.
Instead of just giving you theory and strategies, we teach you HOW to encourage language and connection with simple baby songs, fun nursery rhymes, and easy language tips. We even include real-life videos, so you can see exactly how we interact with our babies!
“I love how the information is so practical and they spoke as moms. They provided anecdotes about reading less with a second child and being kind to yourself as a mom. I find that to be so important and it really resonated with me. I appreciated learning some of the research behind the strategies. I liked how they demonstrated the songs with their babies so you could see how they interacted with them. Of the 15 songs they taught in class, 95% of them were new for me, which was great. I would definitely recommend this course to a friend! It was easy to follow and super informative!”
It can be overwhelming becoming a mom for the first-time. (And the second time...And the third time...) You wonder if you’re doing things right, and what to do with your baby all day. It’s too easy to second-guess, self-doubt, and overthink the joy right out of your days.
We want to help you overcome that. In one hour with us, you’ll learn to notice, understand, and encourage the baby communication foundations that lead to talking. You’ll know what to do and how to do it. And as a result, you’ll watch your confidence, and your baby, thrive.
“I would definitely recommend this course to other moms, especially for the songs and conversation tips! We’ve been singing the toaster song, and I pause at the end and she ‘jumps’ and it’s so cute!”
“I didn’t know any of the songs Carly taught in the course, and I loved learning new ones as I was getting bored of the same old “patty cake” and “round and round the garden”. I am not very musically talented. I really have to plan it out, so it was great having this many songs at my disposal to interact more with the baby. Especially since he’s the second kid and life is just busier! This course is an amazing resource.”
